About Efstidalur Farm Hotel

Efstidalur offers a warm and homely accommodation at our farm hotel. We have a range of double, twin, triple and family rooms that each has its own charm. We offer rooms with private bathrooms and shared bathroom facilities.
Our guests have the opportunity to interact with the variety of farm animals, including our dogs, horses and cows. During the summer we offer to ride tours from your farm. The farm hotel has an onsite restaurant that specialises in ‘farm-to-table dining’ which means that we produce all of our meat, dairy products on the farm and get our vegetables from the surrounding farms. There is a hot tub on our patio that guests are welcome to use, and is a perfect way to relax after a day of activities.
Efstidalur Farm Hotel is perfectly located in South Iceland with many of the regions major natural attractions within relatively short driving distances, including the popular Golden Circle route. The hotel is therefore ideal to serve as a base when travelling and exploring the South region of Iceland.

Staff was friendly and informative. Food was good. Like the novelty of eating while watching the cows. Good location.great homemade bread and ice cream.
The wooden rooms are amazing, clean, cosy and the staff is very friendly. The meat and the ice cream they are serving are so delicious! Try the salted caramel!
We loved the friendly, family atmosphere! The family-owned farm was the exact experience we were looking for. The rooms were lovely, location was exceptional and food fantastic!
Such a lovely stay! The family room was cosy, clean and big enough for four persons. Ice-cream was amazing! My children saw cows from the restaurant and enjoyed it.
